Early morning departure from Accra to the Central Region of Ghana. You will visit the Kakum National Park with a stopover in the village of Abrafo to visit the stingless bees factory. The attraction is the canopy walkway which is made up of seven bridges extending 330m hanging 40m above the forest floor, offering you what is truly a bird’s eye view of the rain forest. There are some mammals but do not expect to see them as they are known to be extremely elusive. Proceed to Elmina visit this historic town. You will tour the Elmina Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Monument built by the Portuguese in 1482. The castle was the first trading post built on the Gulf of Guinea, making it the oldest European building in existence below the Sahara. Listen to the stories of the infamous slave trade.

Enjoy a day a beach day out at one of Ghana’s most prestine beach. Drive through the Ga village of Bortianor to the sandy beach of Bojo, located next to the Densu River Delta, Ramsar site and the Atlantic Ocean.
